1 Introduction & Scope
Welcome to RD Agent Software (accessible at https://doprdsoftware.com, including our Android Mobile Application and Windows Desktop RPA Automation software). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the confidential business records and personal data of recurring deposit (RD) agents, MPKBY/SAS agents, and depositors.
This Privacy Policy explains how our applications collect, use, store, and safeguard your data when using our software suite. By registering, downloading, or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this document.
2 Information We Collect
To deliver automated lot preparation, offline collections, and WhatsApp receipts, we process the following limited categories of business data:
Your agency title, agent mobile phone number, email address, and authentication credentials used for account activation and security verification.
Customer names, mobile contact numbers (for dispatching digital WhatsApp payment receipts), postal RD account numbers, installment counts, monthly denominations, and passbook barcode values.
Door-to-door cash collection entries, timestamps, lot identifiers, transaction reference numbers, and passbook reconciliation logs.
Application version (e.g. v1.4.0), client platform (Desktop / Android), crash telemetry, and diagnostic logs to ensure software stability.
3 Device Permissions Required by the Mobile App
Our Android application requests only the essential device permissions necessary for core operation:

Camera Permission: Used solely when you scan barcodes or QR codes printed on depositor passbooks. Camera frames are processed purely on your local device and are never saved as video or uploaded.

Biometric Hardware (Fingerprint / PIN): Used strictly for local device unlocking to protect collection records if someone borrows your phone. Biometric templates remain securely inside your phone hardware.

Network Access: Used to synchronize offline collection entries with your cloud database and download active master schedules.
4 Zero Data Selling & Multi-Tenant Security
Our database enforces strict multi-tenant tenant isolation. Your agency data is partitioned and encrypted. All transmissions between your mobile device, desktop software, and cloud servers are secured using industry-standard TLS 1.3 encryption.
5 Data Retention & Right to Erasure (Account Deletion)
You maintain complete ownership of your records at all times:
- Right to Export: You can export customer lists, RD passbook ledgers, and lot registers to Excel, PDF, or machine-readable JSON at any time.
- In-App Deletion: You can delete your account, DOP credentials, and all customer data directly inside the Mobile App → Profile → Data Privacy → Delete Account.
- Web Deletion Portal: You can also submit an online erasure request via our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Portal.
- Immediate Purge: When requested, your DOP portal credentials are wiped immediately, and all associated depositor collections are permanently purged.
6 Compliance with Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
Our platform operates in strict conformity with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act):
The authorized MPKBY/SAS Agent acts as the Data Fiduciary who collects and manages depositor RD records. RD Agent Software acts strictly as a Data Processor providing assistive automation tools on the agent's explicit behalf.
Personal financial data (depositor names, account numbers, installments) is processed solely for preparing India Post schedules, compiling door-to-door collections, and dispatching WhatsApp payment acknowledgments. Data is never repurposed, sold, or shared with advertising networks.
For postal RD accounts registered in the name of minors, the software enforces guardian representation by recording guardian details and parental consent.
Every agent and depositor is entitled to the Right to Access, Right to Correction, Right to Erasure, and Right of Grievance Redressal under Indian law.
